A Gorgeous Day for a Gorgeous Wedding!

May 18th, 2010
The weather today ended up being absolutely fabulous, which reminded me that I haven’t yet shared details of a beautiful wedding that we had the opportunity to be a part of a couple of weeks ago. We had the great honor of being the videographer for the wedding of Natalie Kordonowy and Travis Batliner on May 1, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri. We started out the day at the Marriott Muelbach in downtown KC with the gals getting ready, and then got some shots of the guys at the Crowne Plaza. More

Videographer’s Association of Kansas

April 21st, 2010

Yesterday marked the inaugural meeting of the Videographer’s Association of Kansas here in Topeka. As the founding member, we felt that it was important to have an association in this part of the state for education and networking with others in the video industry. We had a great turn-out and everyone gave excellent feedback on the future of the group. If you happen to be a videographer and would like to join us at our next meeting, please feel free to contact us at kellen@studio32productions.com. We hope great things are in store for this new association and the videography industry as a whole, and we really appreciate all of the enthusiastic support we have gotten as we get this new endeavor off the ground.

So……for those of you who have not heard about Topeka’s bid to become the chosen city for Google’s upcoming ultra-high-speed broadband project, it is pretty entertaining. Google is planning on selecting a city in the U.S. to experiment with a new fiber-optic internet set-up, for which some very creative individuals of Topeka decided the town would be the perfect fit. Topekans have done everything from create new organizations to promote this idea, to spelling out “Google” with humans at a hockey game, to getting the mayor to officially proclaim that during the month of March Topeka would now be known as the city of “Google.” More

Katz-Laurie Wedding

March 24th, 2010

We had the honor this past weekend to be the videographer for the wedding of Tyler Katz and Katie Laurie. Of course it was 50 degrees the day before the wedding, but the day of the wedding it snowed….a lot…..look at the beautiful photo opportunities it provided, though. The wedding and reception were held at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Kansas City and everything was absolutely gorgeous. Katie picked a “peacock” theme which was exhibited in everything from the flowers to the napkins to her shoes. Aren’t those the coolest shoes you have ever seen? More
